Time for a Change of Scenery

Some people know how to sleep in.  Wish I were one of them!!  On the plus side, I have ample time to do all my morning stuff, including an hour of yoga and writing yesterday’s blog!  Around eight-thirty or nine the ladies begin emerging and everyone has some form of edible to start the day. There’s some electrical experimentation required to get the coffee maker to work.  It turned out that the problem was Marilyn’s multiplug, for whatever reason.  Connie brought her decaf and I brought my hazelnut decaf for Marilyn and me.  Ginger, of course, had her tea.   We needed to get to the office before ten o’clock so as to pay the other half of our rent and to collect the key so we could get back into the cabin.  We were pretty close to ten!  There is wifi at the office!  That’s when I learned that Blogger’s update has rendered it nearly useless for me!  I vent mightily and give up.  Masks required and only five people at a time ...

Well, I've consulted my IT specialist and now I'm able to actually post!  Just pretend you're reading this as it happens, instead of a week out of sync!!  (Thanks, Stu!)) - - - - - Like a well-oiled machine, Connie and I are up, dressed, packed, and ready to hit the road to Marilyn’s house.  We’re taking both cars because I’m nervous about Connie’s car having a close encounter of the rodent kind! We get to Marilyn’s and unload everything that needs to come with us.  Then the fun begins!  It’s a good thing Marilyn’s car is bigger than either one of ours!  It was a giant game of Tetris!  But we are women and we know how to pack!  And it’s a certainty that we won’t starve up there!! We sure do have a lot of food! The adventure begins! The drive is pretty easy (Easy for me to say, as all I did was navigate!) as there wasn’t a lot of traffic on I-75.  We took a lunch break around noon and ate at Subway.  There were only two other occupied tab...

Well, Blogger is weird and won't let me copy and paste my text, so, since I only have a few minutes here where there is wifi, let me just assure everyone that we've arrived safely and the cabin in charming with two bedrooms and beds for everyone!!  Wednesday, 10-28-2020 Testing, testing!! In just a few days we're going to be cool, or dare I even hope, cold!!  And surrounded by autumn leaves in actual autumn colors!!  Can't wait!! I'll bet they will be far more gorgeous than these!
